C-SPAN.org to build on convention successes with “debate hub” (if and when)

C-SPAN generally was more innovative than other networks in the way it covered the conventions online. As noted in a previous post, C-SPAN.org used Flip andQik cams, enabled robust video search, and facilitated easy use by bloggers of embedded video clips. The features were built into what C-SPAN called its convention hub.
C-SPAN is planning to adapt some of its convention successes to tonight’s debate with a debate hub. Courtesy of a reader and blogger, Simon Owens, of Bloggasm, here’s a video clip from C-SPAN about its debate hub.
No word yet from C-SPAN as to how its plans will be affected if the debate turns into an Obama-only town hall or interview with Jim Lehrer.
